My Very First Etsy Sale and a New Gnome!

Copy of For participating in the 7th Annual Charleston Sports

Woo hoo! I made my first Etsy sale! I’ve sold other items and even crafts on Ebay, but I’m very excited about my first official Etsy sale. I’ve been reading so many books and watching videos about selling on Etsy. I was completely prepared for my first sale to take a while, but it has come! I know I still have sooooo much to learn about selling on Etsy, but it’s nice to have that first one under my belt.

Now that I’ve taken a minute to celebrate, it’s back to work I go! Here’s my latest gnome celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. I switched to a white beard color this time, and I think I like it. What do you think?

St. Patrick’s Day Gnomes

I am just so in love with gnomes right now! They are so fun to make, and you just can’t help but smile when you look at them. I’ve added two so far for the holiday to my Etsy shop, one boy and one girl. The girl is holding an embroidered shamrock with button details, and the boy has a green beer mug made of felt and fiber fill. I’ve never developed a taste for beer myself, but the green beers on Saint Patrick’s Day are so festive they sometimes make me wish I had. Maybe I could just fill a beer mug with lime jello and top it with some whipped cream? My boys would love that! Anyway, I can still enjoy my boy gnome and his green beer!

These gnomes are great decor for shelves, mantels, and tiered trays. They also make adorable gifts. You can find these and other gnomes at my shop:

These fun and adorable little guys are my latest obsession! I’m making some as Valentine’s Day gifts, and I’ve even added a couple to my Etsy shop. Let me know what you think and what kind of gnomes you’d like to see.
